First Summons [Video | Text | Action for New Bark Town]

[The first thing that was wrong was that she woke up in a strange place. And trying to teleport away did nothing. Which was probably why she was shuffled out of the door with a backpack by the strange women who kept calling herself mom. It didn't take Ai long to realize that something was very wrong.]

[So, locating a tree she climbed up and started to investigate her bag. After a while finding the Pokegear and poking around at the maps for a bit. Well wherever she was, it wasn't Japan, or her world of twilight. And unless the Lord of Hell had decided to redecorate, this wasn't Hell. So she was trapped somewhere else then. ...alive for some reason and without any of her powers.]

[An accidental one as she's just poking around on the device. So have a small girl with black hair and red eyes in a tree, looking around and very confused. Before noticing that it seems to be recording and quickly trying to turn it off. It may take her a few moments but she eventually gets it.]

[Well she's managed to figure out that yes you can talk to people on this thing. So...texting is better]

Where am I? And how do I get home?

I have duties to attend to. I am not allowed to miss them.

[Action: New Bark Town]

[You can find Ai slowly getting out of a tree. Looking warily about as if she expects to be attacked at any moment. Hey, with her luck you never know]

I don't know if there's really a general statement I could make... I've met a lot of nice and helpful people here, but not everyone is like that. Team Rocket, for instance, is a group of people that do bad things. They blew up a lighthouse recently. Oh, and some people were dead before they came here. I guess that supports the 'no dying' thing.

Unless you mean the people who weren't brought here. They act like everything is normal and repeat things sometimes.

I don't know... And a lot of people try to catch them and fight back, but it's a really big organization. Other than destruction, they seem to specialize in going into hiding.
newberktown: (hey i just met you)

I'm probably not the best person to talk about them to. I understand dragons more than other people.
newberktown: (wait what?)

There's just about every creature you can imagine here, including dragons. But I've always been good with dragons.

[And, uh. Bad with people.]
newberktown: (what just happened)

I don't know what those are, but it's possible.
newberktown: (maybe i can change your mind)

Spirits like ghosts? Because there are ghost pokemon, yeah.

There are two regions here, and both are pretty big. I've only been to about half of one, but that's more to do with me not going anywhere for five months or so.

Well if there are, I haven't seen any. Maybe in Lavender Town? That's in Kanto, and people say it's kind of spooky.

If you want to see the world, yeah. There's a lot of interesting things, here.
newberktown: (and i made a dork of myself again)

If you have a pokemon big enough, you can ride that. Eventually you should be able to surf on large water pokemon or fly on large flying or dragon pokemon, but you'll need to battle the gyms for that.
newberktown: (sooooo...)

They have to be big enough to carry you, but even the ones that start out small can grow, and they have to be able to learn the move Fly.

Gyms are places that test your strength and make sure you're worthy or something. You can get Fly from defeating an elite trainer in a place called Cianwood City, and Surf from Olivine City, but you have to defeat two other gym leaders in order to use them if you're a trainer. You can just borrow the moves from someone else, if you're a breeder. Which one are you?
newberktown: (huh that house burned up fast)

Sorry, I meant one other leader for each, so it's just two gyms per move. I think there are sixteen badges in all, which would mean eight gyms in each region.

Yeah, then it means you'll have to get the badges if you want to travel easier.
newberktown: (no see my math is correct!)

Every pokemon is different, but they can all get stronger through training. You can look up what attacks they can use on the pokedex function, which should help build battle strategies.
newberktown: (is always pinkie's dream)

Everyone does. But you can catch more with the empty pokeballs you have in your bag. What kind of pokemon did you start out with? The pokegear should tell you if you point it at it.
