[The first thing that was wrong was that she woke up in a strange place. And trying to teleport away did nothing. Which was probably why she was shuffled out of the door with a backpack by the strange women who kept calling herself mom. It didn't take Ai long to realize that something was very wrong.]

[So, locating a tree she climbed up and started to investigate her bag. After a while finding the Pokegear and poking around at the maps for a bit. Well wherever she was, it wasn't Japan, or her world of twilight. And unless the Lord of Hell had decided to redecorate, this wasn't Hell. So she was trapped somewhere else then. ...alive for some reason and without any of her powers.]

[An accidental one as she's just poking around on the device. So have a small girl with black hair and red eyes in a tree, looking around and very confused. Before noticing that it seems to be recording and quickly trying to turn it off. It may take her a few moments but she eventually gets it.]

[Well she's managed to figure out that yes you can talk to people on this thing. So...texting is better]

Where am I? And how do I get home?

I have duties to attend to. I am not allowed to miss them.

[You can find Ai slowly getting out of a tree. Looking warily about as if she expects to be attacked at any moment. Hey, with her luck you never know]

[If no one dies, there must not be a Hell. Maybe she wasn't supposed to continue her duties here. She's distracted by that last bit though. Well she ignores the people part. People don't help, they take advantage of you.]

Yes!!! Pokemon!!!

They're the creatures of this world. You will have one with you, in a small ball. They are your guardians and companions. You may collect them, breed them, battle them, whatever you please. They're very amazing!!!

[There's a pause as Ai drops out of the tree to search her backpack and eventually not really knowing what else it could be, she picks up a red and white ball. A little wary about a "creature" she finally switches to a video feed and holds it up.]

[Hey Minnie, there's a small deadpan and creepy girl on the video screen holding a pokeball up.]

[Now that it's on video, minnie smiles brightly, happy to see her.]

Press the small white button between the colors. That will let it out.

[She nods and then presses the button. There's a flash and an Absol appears. Or as far as Ai knows, a weird creature with thing that looks like a sword on its head.]

Oooh, how nice! I think those are called Absol! Congrats!

[She watches it quietly for a moment, it looking at her back just as warily. However after a moment it simply sits down next to her and Ai reaches over to pat it.]

[Ai looks back at the video screen.]

Why do we have them?

Like I said, they're our guardians and companions. Sometimes this world has dangers, so when others can't help you, your Pokemon can. They use special abilities, like fire, wind, ice, electricity, water... and so much more. And the more battles they win, the more attacks they learn, and the stronger they become.

[She listens quietly to this and nods. Well strong creatures sounds like good things to have. Especially when she has no powers herself anymore.]

If you'd like to. When you are traveling along paths, you can encounter wild Pokemon. If you weaken them, and then throw another Pokeball, you can capture them, and then they're yours.

I see.

[She glances over at the one next to her]

And you weaken them with other creatures?

See, you're learning quickly! You're going to do great!

[Not as sure. Overly helpful people are often hiding something after all. But still, she needs information.]

And....do they take anything from us? Or change us before we arrive here?

[How do you say, I'm suddenly alive and have no powers to a person.]

Well, as long as you're here, you're a powerless human. If you were anything else before that, then it's taken away for now. For example, I'm supposed to be a mouse, and I can use magic... but here, I'm a human who can't.

[You get a deadpan stare because ...compliments from strangers tend to be creeper ones but this is different.]

We had a strange event a little while ago, that's why my hair is white now. But I bet you'd be pretty in white too. Black hair, white Absol... what a nice little mix and match!

[Remains silent. Because she's not really sure what you say to that. Looks slightly confused.]
