They had a strange first meeting during a Halloween event. Ai thought she was a super-villain and Slugger thought he was a Super Hero. They did an odd battle before he fell, in illusioned fire. After that. They took to talking a few times and because of their similar roles and similar nature, became friends. His "father" in the town started to think they were dating and soon the rest of the adults did as well. They didn't really understand why so just ignored them.
However during the events and as time passed Ai continued to grow fond of him. He taught her to roller skate and during that, she fell and accidently kissed him. That, and strange feelings from the Valentines event made her wonder. They decided to ignore these things. Though everyone else seemed convinced they either liked each other or were dating.
After a strange gas caused people to see things. Ai learned that Slugger had seen a vision of her, ignoring him and then rejecting him. She was familiar with such betrayals and when he told her that everyone had turned on him in his visions to the point that he wanted to be droned forever, she kissed him and told him she was glad he wasn't.
Recently he confessed that he loves her. He kissed her. She said she loved him too.
Slugger is probably the most important person to Ai here save for Wanyudo.
A strange girl that likes to creep around just as much as Ai does. The girl claims they are friends. Ai isn't sure why she would want to be friends with her as most people don't. She'll talk with her now and then. And doesn't really mind the idea of being friends.
An English teacher and also Slugger's "mother" here. Susan is apparently something closes to Death, but Ai isn't really sure. All she knows is that the woman has made it clear that she's not allowed to show people visions of Hell in her house and considers it rude.
Susan has a commanding presence and Ai is rather scared of her. Especially because she knows Susan means so much to Slugger.
Slugger's "father". He'd only be known to Ai as the person who seemed to think she and Slugger were dating because Slugger asked her to his room. However he batrayed Ema and Scout and got them both killed in a plot of his. Because of this she came over and sought revenge. Showing him a vision of Hell and what awaits him there. Susan stopped that a few seconds in. But he got the message.
Slugger later asked her to show Edward Hell a second time. She did so. She didn't give him much thought until she found out he was somehow dating Ema. She doesn't trust him, but she trusts Ema. Though despite what the woman says. She will step in and show Edward Hell once again if he hurts her.
He is scared of her. She is used to that. And with him, she thinks that's a good thing.
Slugger's best friend. She didn't really know much about him for a while. Now they've talked a few times and she knows he cares about Slugger a lot and wants him to be safe. Ai therefore will look out for Pokey. She also doesn't think he needs to be as hard on himself for the past and that yes, he does deserve friends.
As someone who brings death herself it's rather odd to meet ...her. Especially the cheerful woman who doesn't seem like she'd be Death at all. She's Slugger's ...great grandmother ...sort of.
Ai's talked to her a few times. She doesn't seem that bad. She's good at listening and not judging, it seems.
Her first companion. Ai asked him to join her and gave him a purpose to his life. Like all her companions, he is very important to Ai. Family at this point.
She's glad to see him. But at the same time she worries about him here. She doesn't want to see him droned either.
She's also a bit worried about what he will think of her here, as she's had to change rather a bit to live here. Having friends, emotions, ...a boyfriend. etc.
